O’ Fire be cold and wholesome..
“يا نار كوني برداً و سلاماً على إبراهيم (Ya na’ar kuni bardan wa salaman ala Ibrahim)
O’ Fire be cold and wholesome for Ibrahim!”
Said the voice of the Creator to the raging fire that filled the pit. Obediently, though it roared on with just as much hunger and fury as any fire of its size would, the fire cooled the flames shooting from its blazing heart.
The ayyat puts off and cools down fire of hatred, arrogance, pride. May Allah guide us all!
